Fees and Policies
The fees listed below are community-provided and may exclude utilities or add-ons. All payments are made directly to the property and are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
2 separate bedrooms in house for rent, can rent individually. One upstairs rooms are already rented. The owner also lives in the house in the basement. There is a full bathroom in the upstairs, a half bath on the main floor, and another full bathroom... in the basement. Shared kitchen and living room on the main level with homeowner (female). Some garage storage available (bicycle, kayaks, smaller items - single car garage so not room for a car, homeowner leaves car outside). Utilities (heat, electric, garbage, water/sewer, and heat) will be split equally by homeowner and tenants. With four people living here, this has been around $300 per month, or $75 each, but varies by season with heat and air conditioning. Internet is included in the rent. Free laundry is available in the home basement. Off-street parking for 3 vehicles in addition to homeowner. Close (walking distance) to campus (4 blocks). Being I and other roommates also live here, I will plan to find roommates who will be compatible with me and each other. It would be helpful if you could share relevant information about yourself. I work at SDSU full time and also take courses. In addition to my work I spend a lot of time working on my computer at home. Therefore I need a lot of time when the house is quiet and this wouldn't really be a great place to live if you'd want to host a lot of events, etc, though we welcome community as well as long as considerate of other roommates' needs, and the backyard is great for events in the summer. Female & male roommates welcome. Currently have two male roommates and myself, female. A benefit of this house over an apartment or perhaps some room-for-rent situations is the ability to have your own garden space, if you want. Possibility of a dog depending on the dog and current roommates' wishes. The yard, patio, and firepit can be used as well and it is nice to spend time in the backyard in the summer. There are perennial gardens and a pond with a turtle. There is also a small amount of garage space (though not for a car) and room for storage in the basement as well. Feel free to ask whatever you'd like to know to determine if this would be a good fit for you.
